come on don't tell me you hate it.

Ok, has anyone heard of the Pendragon series? It's AWESOME! I am not kidding, after I read the first one I was like, "ohmigod is there any more?" As it turns out, there are going to be 10 total, but only 5 have come out so far (in order: The Merchant of Death, The Lost City of Faar, The Never War, The Reality Bug, and Black Water). Not that I'm complaining.
They're probably classified as fantasy, with a little sci-fi like time traveling, although it's not really time traveling, it's traveling to different "worlds" (territories). It follows the course of Bobby Pendragon's adventures. He's a 15 year old who just found out he's a "traveler" (he can flume to different territories). The catch is, as he visits each territory, it's on the verge of a great turning point, which could either help the territory or set all hell lose. Bobby's job is to ensure the territory remains protected during the turning point, but his nemesis, St. Dane, is there to ensure the opposite. Even if the plot sounds simple, I assure you, it's not.
D.J. MacHale totally puts his mind into that of his fictional 15-year-old hero, so teens' intelligence is the last thing insulted in this series. It's got humor, adventure, mystery, and a little romance.
What more could you want?
Meh. I only read the first and I didn't like the guy's writing style much. The story was good I suppose...

I am the best Pendragon fan here. I read the first 6 books and i am waiting for the 7th and 8th. I should write to MacHale too. How do you anyway. Bet i will be the first to read the 7th book.
which was your favorite of the 5, least favorite?
rigth now i hated the 4th one....really sucked...but i know, they have to loose sometimes...it was confuzing and really weird..some parts were cool..but in my opinion other parts were dumb
i dont have a favorite right now halfway through 5th
I love these books! They're really good and I've read all 5 so far. My mother has also and she's even liked them. It's cool that D. J. MacHale actually writes back, that's really nice. I might even try writing him some time.
Oh yeah, I wrote to DJ MacHale too! You're right, not only do we get replies, but they're personal. I told him I want to be a writer and his response was encouraging.
I really liked the second one. Mesh, I'm stealing your copy of the fifth once you finish. I have to read it!
What's REALLY cool is that if you go to the website, you can email the author. I've done so twice, and he wrote back both times! It was really awesome. He gave me a few tips on writing.
i love this series! I'm on the fifth book at the moment, and testing should provide adequate time to finish it!
im now about 100pgs to finishing the fourth book, this one is weird but cool.
Haha, yes, addictive, aren't they?
I'd say my favorite is The Lost City of Faar (#2), probably because I'd love to flume to Cloral any day now, but The Never War (#3) and Black Water (#5) are close runner-ups!
they are awsome, i stayed up until 12:00 to finish the 3rd book . i am exausted, but it was definatly worth the time. higley reccomed that everone to read these amazing books
I totally agree with your opinion of the pendragon series; those books are awsome im on the third book right now but i absolutly love it! i think that this one might be my favorite, because it definatly is right now. which is your favorite book of the series?
